LOST SEASON 6 (Episode 4-The Substitute)

This is my first post of a weekly recap of LOST. I'll also post some theories for discussion. This weeks episode, "The Substitute" got Lost back on track after last weeks extremely slow episode. I'm still a bit disappointed. They say "the questions are over" but they unleashed all sorts of new ones this week. The good news is they are questions we want to ask. Who is the new blonde boy? Why does he seem to hold so much power over someone who is able to turn into a pillar of black smoke? Also, are the names written in the cave actually there for the reasons "Locke" says they are. It's my opinion that he is lying about everything to get Sawyer to join his team. It may not even be Jacobs place. For someone who was able to be killed it seems like an unlikely place for Jacob to set up his home. (Not so much for Smokey) I also feel that he is going to recruit many of our other Lost friends leading to the ultimate battle where friends become enemies and enemies become friends. Next weeks episode is called the lighthouse and from the looks of the preview we will find out more about Claire and hopefully how she was "claimed." It also looks as if Jacob will make an appearance! Look for a recap next week. The trailer is embedded below.

  1. i agree, i think the new locke def has a hidden agenda. i really dont know whose cave that is, but i do think that when he threw the white rock off of the scale and left the black one it smybolized he is evil. Also, anyone else notice Kates name was the only one NOT written on the wall as a potential "candidate"? Duno if there is a reason for that or if its just random

  2. I think the white rock being thrown off the scale represents the fact that jacob is out of the picture... at least to everyone but Hurley
